I have looked up the weather forecast for your area, for all of 2023. Here it is – there’s gotta be a little rain sometime.
Rain gets a bad knock. It is vital for life on Earth. When scientists begin looking for life on other planets, they begin with a search for water.
Sure, we want sunshine. But sometimes, we need rain. Ben Franklin said, “You never recognize the value of rain until your well runs dry.”
If your well is dry today, if you are struggling, if you find yourself in a storm, embrace the process.
Recovery Step: “I will give you your rains in your season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit” (Leviticus 26:4). If you’re in a rainy season, celebrate the fact that no cloud ever forms without God’s consent.
