Can you stay sober for the next 30 days?
I remember when such a goal seemed crazy. It was on par with becoming an Olympic swimmer, NASA scientist, or watching a Hallmark movie without jumping off a tall building.
Impossible.
I love what Nelson Mandela said. “It always seems impossible until it is done.”
The King of quotes went even further: “With God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26).
So I ask you again, can you stay sober for the next 30 days? Of course you can! There are millions of recovering addicts who have been sober for five, ten, or fifteen years. And every one of them has one thing in common.
They all stayed sober for the first 30 days.
Recovery Step: Thirty days of sobriety is not a matter of chance; it is a matter of choice. And you can make that choice, starting right now.
