I have a dear friend who was able to fulfill a lifelong dream by attending the Super Bowl this year. What a great day!
Until it wasn’t.
After the game, someone stole his wallet. Shortly thereafter, he tore the meniscus in one of his knees.
We’ve all been there. We’ll all have bad days. The next time you’re having a bad day, remember this:
You are blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
You were chosen before the beginning of time.
You are blameless in the eyes of God.
You are adopted by the heavenly Father.
You are redeemed by the blood of Christ.
You are sealed by the Holy Spirit.
You are stamped with the image of God.
Recovery Step: Say this verse out loud. “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8).
