According to the CDC, 40 percent of Americans are struggling with anxiety or depression.
A Gallup poll indicated that 60 percent of Americans experience significant stress every day.
The Bible is against anxiety. “Be anxious for nothing” (Philippians 4:6).
One of the problems with anxiety is that it often leads to acting out behaviors that become addictions. Let me offer a few simple tips to facing anxiety.
- Get plenty of sleep.
- Go outside.
- Eat well.
- Limit middle circle behaviors.
- Learn to meditate.
Recovery Step: Anxiety is a growing challenge in our modern world. It is everywhere and it is hard to avoid. But never forget that greater is he who is in you than the anxiety that is in the world.
