Before my feet hit the ground each morning, I pray this: “Dear God, it’s another day. And if I don’t get anything else done today, I want to know you a little bit better and love you a little bit more.”
God’s greatest command is simple. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment” (Matthew 22:37-38).
You are probably reading this because your life has been ravished by sexual addiction or betrayal. But before you focus on your recovery, focus on your God. Why? Because all recovery is spiritual recovery.
Recovery Step: Start each day with this simple prayer: “Dear God, it’s another day. And if I don’t get anything else done today, I want to know you a little bit better and love you a little bit more.”
