God allowed Moses to climb a historic mountain, where he did historic things.
Then God told Moses, “On the mountain you have climbed you will die” (Deuteronomy 32:50).
We all like the “mountain” thing. But then we die? I offer three thoughts.
- We will all die sometime.
- It is better to die on the mountain than in the valley.
- God has a mountain in your future.
If you have lived the life of an addict, know this – your present is not your future. Yes, at some point you will die. That’s actually good news. But before that time comes, there is a mountain to climb.
So get climbing.
Recovery Step: Go mountain climbing today and leave tomorrow up to God.
