You were born into a battle.
It’s not a fight you asked for, but you got it. This world is on fire, and there are two forces at war at all times – good and evil. God vs Satan. And each of us must take sides.
Making matters worse, you were born with an unwanted inheritance. You inherited your family’s secrets, dysfunctions, and generational struggles. Whether it was an alcoholic mother, a distant father, parental neglect, sibling rivalries, poverty, or personal challenges, we were all born into a battle.
It’s no wonder many of us fell into addiction.
But life is more about response than condition. When a person is drowning in a pool, it matters less how they got there than it does how they will get out. If he can’t swim, he hopes for someone to come quickly who can.
God can swim. He is in the lifeguarding business. You can win this battle if you recognize the power within.
