That comes to 156 burgers per person, per year. And that comes to 125,000 calories per person, per year. That equals the suggested calorie intake for two months.
This helps to explain why 75 percent of men and 67 percent of women are clinically overweight. While people living in Utah are the thinnest in the U.S., the heaviest state is Louisiana.
Now I’m going to get personal. Actually, the Bible is. Paul wrote, “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
