“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God” (Psalm 20:7).
Corrie Ten Boom said, “Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.”
And Ralph Waldo Emerson added, “All I have seen teaches me to trust the creator for all I have not seen.”
Trust is a part of life. We all trust in something – or somebody. That is the root of recovery. We must learn to place our trust in the God of the universe. That means surrendering to his plan for your recovery. Giving up control. Releasing everything. Not looking back.
You’ve trusted your brain, brawn, and beauty long enough. It’s time for a change.
Recovery Step: Trust God, and lean not on your own understanding.
