I’m afraid that time has come. I’m guessing that you don’t have to look very hard to find a church that is better at entertaining the goats than they are at feeding the sheep.
Paul said this day was coming.
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers, and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned to fables” (2 Timothy 4:3-4).
I’m not against entertainment. But no one ever died for lack of a good clown show. What we need is the powerful, living Word of the Living God.
Recovery Step: Quit clowning around with your recovery. Feed on the Word of God – every Sunday at church, then every other day of the week as well.
