It’s the little stuff that matters.
We think it is the big things in life that create character. Not true! It is the little things. The big things reveal character. What matters is what you do that no one sees. The glance at an attractive person, quick fantasy, white lie – they all matter.
Here are some “little things” you might try today:
- Read a verse.
- Pray a prayer.
- Make a call.
- Attend a meeting.
“Whoever is faithful in small matters will be faithful in large ones; whoever is dishonest in small matters will be dishonest in large ones” (Luke 16:10).
Recovery Step: You will never climb a mountain. What you can do is take a step forward. Then tomorrow, you can do it again. Never forget, it’s the small stuff that matters.
