The Bible says, “In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophecy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams” (Acts 2:17).
But how do you know if your dream is from God? There are two ways.
First, a God-given dream will help others.
Second, any dream that comes from God will be so big that you can’t achieve it in your own power.
Let me suggest a few dreams.
- I will get sober and stay sober.
- I will help one addicted person find sobriety this year.
- I will become the person my dog thinks I am.
Recovery Step: Dream big dreams. Then go to work, because dreams alone are not enough. “Much dreaming and many words are meaningless” (Ecclesiastes 5:7).
