“Lose your dream, you lose your mind.”
– Rolling Stones, Ruby Tuesday
We all need to dream big dreams. Here are a few of my dreams:
- Finish strong.
- Earn a 25-year recovery chip.
- Celebrate 50 years of marriage.
- Write at least three more books.
- Spoil my future grandchildren.
- Retire by the age of 90.
- Avoid any more heart attacks.
- Eat healthy, but not too healthy.
What are your dreams? God is into dreams. He wants you to have great dreams, dreams that fit his plan for your life of recovery. My prayer for you is David’s prayer of old: “May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed” (Psalm 20:4).
