If you are drinking your milk with a fork, perhaps you missed the date on the side of the carton. It’s called an expiration date. Eggs, milk, most food – they all have expiration dates.
Could there be an expiration date on God’s mercy?
God warned, “My people would not listen to me; Israel would not submit to me. So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts to follow their own devices” (Psalm 81:11-12).
This should be a wake-up call to every non-repentant sex addict. Addicts often reason, “I’ll look at porn, have affairs, and commit other acts of sexual immorality until I get old. Then I’ll repent, get help, and chart a new course for my final days.”
That’s a dangerous route. God’s mercy offers hope, peace, and a future. But make no mistake. Even God’s mercy has an expiration date.
