Here are some things you need to know. You yawn the most after breakfast. You lose weight if you sleep in a cold room. You are the tallest thing in the morning. Sharp knives are safer than dull knives. People with friends live longer.
Wait. Let’s go back to that last one. People with friends live longer.
But you must have the right kind of friends. Solomon warned, “One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a friend” (Proverbs 18:24).
You can have great recovery, but you can’t do it on your own. You need two or three friends who will encourage you, pray for you, and hold you accountable. With their help you can not only live longer; you can live better.
Recovery Step: You need a few reliable friends. If you don’t have that yet, ask God to bring those people into your life – soon.
