God loves the man who has it all together, who spends an hour each day in prayer, memorizes Scripture, teaches a Bible study, and has never looked at pornography a single time.
But get this – God loves the most porn addicted, self-inflicted, truly wicked abomination of a man who ever lived, just as much as he loves Super Saint.
Oswald Chambers said it like this, in My Utmost for His Highest: “It makes no difference to God’s grace what an abomination I am, if I will only come to the light.”
There is a line in the SA white book, Steps 6 and 7, that says, “God is for the sexaholic.” I love that, because I just happen to be a sexaholic.
So take heart, if you are a sinner. God loves sinners. In fact, those are the only kind of people God does love!
Recovery Step: “Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat!” (Isaiah 55:1).
