Let me introduce you to grace.
Author Gerald May wrote about grace. “Grace is the most powerful force in the universe. It can transcend repression, addiction, and every other internal and external power that seeks to oppress the freedom of the human heart. Grace is where our hope lies.”
There are two things you need to know about grace.
- You can’t earn what is free.
- Grace never runs away.
Grace is a big deal with God; the Bible talks about grace 170 times.
Grace invites us into God’s presence: “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).
Recovery Step: Come boldly to the one who offers grace.
