Some things are hard to predict. Just two generations ago, my grandparents’ world would have never seen any of this coming:
- A motorized vehicle replacing the horse and buggy
- Bicycle repair man inventing an airplane
- The eradication of polio
- Man walking on the moon
- A peanut farmer becoming President of the United States
- The Miracle on Ice
- A computer in every home
- A stock market of 30,000 points
- A year dominated by a virus
Recovery Step: The Old Testament reads, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens” (Ecclesiastes 3:1). But each “time” passes. And on the back side is something better. Embrace your future!
