Do you remember Gunsmoke, the greatest Western television show in history? (No, that honor does not go to Bananza.)
In the opening scene, Marshal Matt Dillon shoots a guy on the streets of Dodge City, Kansas. The guy who is shot never says a word, and he is not shown up close.
But he was a real person.
His name was Arvo Oswald Ojala. He lived from 1920 to 2005. And he was an interesting fellow. Arvo was the fastest gun around. He could draw his gun and hit his target in 1/6 of a second. Arvo was the guy who taught James Arness (Matt Dillon) how to shoot. For that, he was given airtime in every episode.
Your success in the big stuff tomorrow is rooted in what you do with the little stuff today. Jesus said to “be faithful in little things” (Luke 16:10).
