“A highway will be there; it will be called the way of holiness; it will be for those who walk on that way” (Isaiah 35:8).
“Highway to holiness.” I like that. Not an exit ramp to holiness. Or a country road.
Highway.
I think God is saying to drive the road to holiness quickly. No hesitation. No slowing down. If we are to live holy lives of recovery, we must do so with intentionality and haste.
Clearly, most of us are driving a different road – selfishness, idolatry, or self-indulgence, for example.
Charles Spurgeon nailed it: “In man’s idolatry, holiness is viewed as unworthy of a serious thought.”
Recovery Step: Get on the highway to holiness today. No delay. No excuses. No hesitation.
