There is one condition to a powerful relationship with God. See if you can find it in King David’s charge to his son Solomon.
“And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever” (1 Chronicles 28:9).
Catch that big two-letter word – if. “If you seek him, he will be found by you.”
Apologist William Lane Craig said it so well: “If you’re sincerely seeking God, God will make his existence evident to you.”
Recovery Step: Seek God through his Son Jesus Christ.
