Richard Elliot was nominated for a Grammy Award for his excellent play of the tenor sax. I wasn’t.
Richard Elliot and I were born the very same day, 61 years ago today. We both played the exact same instrument, but he became what I only dreamed of – a professional musician. In many ways, Richard Elliot became what I wish I was.
But here’s the deal. God’s plan for my life was perfect. And his plan for your life is perfect. And there is nothing we can ever do that knocks God off his plan. He can bless and use us in incredible ways, whether life turned out as we had hoped or not.
