Isaac Asimov said, “People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do.”
As one who knows everything, I can relate.
For the rest of you who don’t yet know it all, let me tell you where to start. Better yet, let Solomon tell you where to start. He wrote, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 1:7).
So where does “the fear of the Lord” come from? Pastor and author Ray Pritchard connects the dots. “The fear of the Lord is an attitude of the heart. It is a choice. It says ‘yes’ to God before he asks.”
Knowledge is power. But it must be the right kind of knowledge – the fear of the Lord.
