I have spent the better part of my 64 years trying to find something men are better at than women. I finally found it. Ready for this?
Men are 23 percent more likely to be left-handed than women.
Finally, something men are better at than women. I know that’s a stretch. But it’s true. Generally speaking, men are better at being left-handed than women.
But in their defense, there are a few things women are better at than men. For example, women are better listeners. They are better caregivers. And they have better intuition.
So let’s call it a draw.
I’ve never been a woman, so I am reticent to give them advice. But I’ve been a guy for a good while now, so let me say this to the men. Better yet, I’ll let Peter speak on my behalf.
“In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together” (1 Peter 3:7).
Recovery Step: Let’s celebrate our differences. But for the sake of recovery and intimacy, may we treasure one another greatly.
