Focus on the little things. Make a meeting. Call someone in recovery. Work one Step. Pray a short prayer. Go for a walk. Read a good devotional. Memorize one verse of Scripture.
That’s how you secure sobriety – by stringing together several “little things.”
Dale Carnegie said, “Do the little things right and the rest will take care of itself.”
And Jesus promised blessings to those who are “faithful in very little” (Luke 16:10).
In one of my first SAA meetings, the facilitator of the meeting said, “Do the next right thing.” I know you know that. But are you doing that?
Recovery Step: Write down three “little things” you can do to feed your recovery this week.
