I’ll give you a name and you tell me what he is best known for – Gaston Chevrolet.
I’ll give you a few hints. Gaston Chevrolet was a race car driver early in his life. He competed in the 1919 Indianapolis 500.
Got it?
If you said he was the guy for whom the Chevrolet line of cars is named, you’d be wrong. That was actually his brother Louis. Gaston was most famous for being the first Indy 500 driver to complete the race without changing tires.
There was another guy with a mistaken identity. He was John the Baptist. Many thought he might be the Messiah (Matthew 16:14). John shrugged off the high expectations. He was comfortable in his own skin.
Recovery Step: Don’t try to be someone you’re not. Besides, if you tried to be someone else, who would play you?
