On the night of his betrayal, Jesus said something interesting to his betrayer. He told Judas, “What you are going to do, do quickly” (John 13:27).
It wasn’t that Jesus was commending the betrayal, but that he wanted to move quickly beyond this historic mistake.
You have made colossal mistakes. Every sex addict has. Now it’s time to move quickly to the next chapter. Nothing you have ever done has to define the rest of your life. What you do for the rest of your life will define the rest of your life. You have every chance to finish strong.
Let me say it like this. What you become tomorrow will be the predictable outcome of what you do today. So take charge of your future by making good decisions in the present.
