Let’s turn to R.C. Sproul for some great insight today. He wrote, “To know that God knows everything about me and yet loves me is indeed my ultimate consolation.”
God knows you intimately and loves you fully. Until you understand that, recovery will be a mirage, something you long for but cannot touch.
God promises, “Before they call, I will answer. While they are yet speaking, I will hear” (Isaiah 65:24).
I know three things:
- God knows you intimately.
- God loves you fully.
- You can recover completely.
Recovery Step: God knows you and he loves you. Do you know him and love him?
