Actress Tallulah Bankhead said, “If I had to live my life again, I’d make the same mistakes, only sooner.”
As we turn the page to a new year, it is important to learn from the mistakes of our past, and then to move forward. An article in Country Living last month offered 15 suggestions on how to have a great 2021. Here are just a few of their ideas.
- Go for a hike.
- Start a new book.
- Cook a new dish.
- Volunteer in your community.
- Create some “Me” time.
God said, “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland” (Isaiah 43:19).
God is all about doing a “new thing.” To have a better 2021 than your 2020, you will need to do some “new things” – in recovery and in life.
Recovery Step: Pick a few “new things” that you can get started on right away!
