According to folklore, leprechauns found abandoned gold and buried it so no one could find it; it can only be recovered at the end of a rainbow, where the rainbow touches the earth.
God created the rainbow as a sign of his grace. Life is full of challenges, storms, and floods, often as consequences of our own choices. But in the end, God promises hope. He is all about grace.
If you are in need of your own rainbow today, take heart. We have this promise: “I remain confident in this, I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord” (Psalm 27:13-14).
Most of us spend our entire lives in search of our version of the pot of gold. God says, “Quit looking and start receiving!”
Recovery Step: When you are tired from chasing rainbows, trust the one who created the rainbow in the first place.
