There is a ministry in Oyugis, Kenya, called the Ripple Effects Center. The center offers programs that share the love of Christ, rooted in the principle that when we affect one person with our testimony, they will then become a blessing to someone else. It’s called the “ripple effect.”
The Ripple Effects Center maintains that it is what happens outside the church that matters, more than what happens inside.
The prophet captured the heart of God: “I hate, I despise your religious festivals; I cannot stand your assemblies” (Amos 5:21).
God isn’t actually opposed to us having church each Sunday. He is just saying that what happens on Sunday only matters if it affects what happens on Monday.
Ripple effect.
