I am the product of the second chance. You are, too.
Coach Lane Kiffin said, “When God gives you a second chance, it’s not something you take for granted.”
Harrison Ford said, “We all have big changes in our lives that are more or less a second chance.”
Pete Rose said, “If somebody is gracious enough to give me a second chance, I won’t need a third.”
Have you made a mess of things? Sure, you have. And that’s precisely where God steps in. You see, God loves you more than he hates your mess.
The King of Israel wrote, “But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:21-23).
Recovery Step: Give God a chance to give you a second chance.
