A few weeks ago, I came across this verse, and it really struck me for some reason.
“I keep asking that God may give you the Spirit of revelation” (Ephesians 1:17).
Have you ever thought about that? God wants you to have revelation. That is the ability to see things others do not see. Paul prayed for that, so it must be pretty important.
Apologist William Lane Craig agrees. He wrote, “If you are sincerely seeking God, God will make his existence evident to you.”
If you want to know God’s will, or more importantly, you want to know God himself, take heart. God wants that, too.
Recovery Step: God wants to be known. Let the search begin.
