“I live my life a quarter mile at a time.”
Dominic Toretto, The Fast and the Furious
The only way to win The Race is to take it a quarter mile at a time. I love the way the psalmist said it: “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord” (Psalm 37:23).
Notice, God doesn’t order our marathon, our mile, or even our quarter mile. He is the God of steps. God only orders our steps.
Learn to focus more on your direction than your destination. Get the direction right and your destination will take care of itself. Proceed in the right direction – one step at a time.
Recovery Step: You can win the big race – one step at a time.
