One Sunday, when the pastor was out of town, the church bulletin provided this announcement: “With Pastor Johnson out this week, please give his massages to his secretary.”
One letter can mean everything. In case you didn’t catch that, there is a big difference between a message and a massage.
In English, one letter can mean a lot. Jesus once told a guy, “One thing you lack” (Mark 10:21). Paul wrote, “This one thing I do” (Philippians 3:13).
It is focus on the one letter, one thought, one task, or one thing that is the difference between success and failure – in life and in recovery.
Don’t try to do a dozen recovery activities well. Just focus on one recovery activity – today.
