Here are just a few strange, but true stories.
A man went to a funeral, and he saw the deceased rise from the casket and stand in front of the church as the attendees entered.
A woman returned home from work one day, only to find the sofa cushions arranged on the floor in the shape of a cross.
Every year, a brother and sister gather to discuss their departed dad on the date of his death. When they do, a mirror shatters somewhere in the house.
How do I know these stories are all true? It’s simple. I read them on the Internet.
“God’s Word is truth” (John 17:17). Not the Internet. Not the gossip on the streets. Not even the assumptions you make about the recovery of your husband or wife. The only authentic source of truth is God and his Word. Take everything else with a huge grain of salt.
Recovery Step: It is a good thing to listen to your instincts. But they are not infallible. Try to avoid making assumptions about those around you when you really don’t have all the facts.
