Good choices have good consequences. And bad choices have bad consequences.
C.S. Lewis wrote, “If man had never made bad choices, there would be no hell.”
The bad choices of sexual addiction have resulted in a myriad of consequences: broken relationship with God, sleepless nights, loss of marriage, lack of spiritual power, absence of authenticity, etc.
The good news is that with each new day comes new choices – great choices – ready to be made.
The Bible says, “Choose you this day whom you will serve” (Joshua 24:15).
Catch those two words: this day. Regardless of your past, the decisions of this day will set you up for success.
Or failure.
Recovery Step: Make one really wise decision – this day.
