You will never come so far that you have nothing left to learn.
Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Every man I meet is my superior in some way. In that, I learn of him.”
I challenge you to learn one thing about recovery this week. There are many ways to do this. Pick one:
- Go to a meeting.
- Listen to a podcast.
- Read recovery material.
- Have lunch with anyone else in recovery.
You can learn from anyone. And you should learn from someone!
Recovery Step: Learning from others is a big thing in the Bible. Which is why Paul told his followers, “The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you” (Philippians 4:9).
