I don’t know anyone who says they have more time than they need. We all feel rushed to accomplish all we want to in a day, week, month, year, and life.
Leonard Bernstein said, “To achieve great things, two things are needed: a plan and not quite enough time.”
If we are to achieve all that we were put here to achieve, we need to master two things in the arena of time.
- We need to focus our time on the few tasks that matter most.
- We need urgency to do those things while there is time.
You may have noticed I call this thing I write each day “Recovery Minute.” Our goal is to give you tools each day which will help you to be successful, and to leave you 23 hours, 59 minutes to apply these principles each day.
Recovery Step: Solomon said, “For everything there is a time” (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Ben Franklin added, “Lost time is never found again.” Here’s your job. You just spent one minute reading this. Now go out and do something meaningful with the 1,439 minutes left in your day.
