The average person will live about 30,000 days.
I’m not sure where I stand on that continuum, but I’m pretty sure I’m closer to the end than I am to the beginning. Will I live 30,000 days? A little less? A little more?
Who knows? But I do know this – I’m alive on this day. And that makes the words of the psalmist entirely relevant.
“This is the day which the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24).
If you want to make today count, I suggest you find time to do five things:
- Bless your family.
- Improve your recovery.
- Get some exercise.
- Spend time with God.
- Have some fun.
Recovery Step: This is the last day you are promised. Make it count.
