There are about 6,000 daily newspapers in the United States today. (That number is dropping all the time.) Each of those newspapers has one thing in common. Comedian Jerry Seinfeld has figured it out.
Seinfeld muses, “It’s amazing that the amount of news that happens in the world each day always fits the newspaper exactly.”
One reason newspapers are in sharp decline is that they pretty much only cover bad news, in a world starved for the Good News.
That’s where you and I come in. May we say with Paul, “I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16).
Recovery Step: Embrace the Good News. Then share it with someone else today.
