Do you remember the story of the plagues in Exodus? In chapter 8, we read that God sent frogs so torment Egypt. Then we read this amazing account:
“Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, ‘Pray to the Lord to take the frogs away from me and my people, and I will let your people go to offer sacrifices to the Lord.’ Moses said to Pharaoh, ‘I leave to you the honor of setting the time for me to pray for you and your officials and your people that you and your houses may be rid of the frogs.’ Pharaoh said, ‘Tomorrow’” (Genesis 8:8-10).
Did you catch Pharaoh’s response?
“Tomorrow.”
Pharaoh asked to be delivered tomorrow.
I read about an old sermon by a country preacher titled, “One More Night with the Frogs.” That’s how many of us treat our porn habit. We want just one more night. When asked when we play to stop, our answer (in deeds if not in words) mirrors the response of Pharaoh.
“Tomorrow.”
Recovery Step: You need to commit right now – not one more night with the frogs!
