Man has long held a fascination with time. You can spend anything for a watch, starting at around $10. If you’ve had a good year, you can buy the world’s most expensive watch. The Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF men’s watch sells for a cool $163,700.
But you probably knew that.
What you might not have known is that the first televised commercial was a 10-second advertisement that played on WNBT in New York City, on July 1, 1941. The ad was for Bulova watches.
God measures time differently than man. The Bible says, “A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night” (Psalm 90:4).
Billy Graham said that the only difference between success and failure is how we spend our time. So spend your life in a timely fashion.
