Hope. It’s in our title. There’s Still Hope.
The prophet was eaten up with hope. Micah wrote, “As for me, I watch in hope for the Lord. I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me” (Micah 7:7).
Hope is a powerful thing. Scholar Dan J. Tomasulo, professor at the University of Pennsylvania, writes, “People of hope see challenges as opportunities to grow and learn, rather than as obstacles.”
And C.S. Lewis spoke of hope in his classic work, Mere Christianity. “We need not despair in our worst, for our failures are forgiven.” Lewis said that the only “fatal thing” was to give up.
No one does recovery perfectly. Never have, never will. And that’s okay. God is the author of hope. He promises to take you places you cannot go on your own. Hop aboard.
For you, there is hope.
